"On the Street......Gatsby Moment, Paris"
"He smiled understandingly-much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced--or seemed to face--the whole external world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor. It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself."
Truly one of my favorite shots from The Sartorialist. He captured a moment that is intriguing and full of life. And his chosen title is positively perfect - it could easily be Jay Gatsby, pretending, with easy charm and provocative conversation, to enjoy himself, when all the while he's really just waiting for Daisy. always waiting for Daisy.

Gatsby was always one of my favorite books. Funny too, I was paging through it earlier today because my sister has to read it for school.
Great picture.
