England in Pictures, Part 3

I played tour guide for the most part, making sure we hit all the classic London tourism spots.
We walked through Trafalgar Square,

 visited the Houses of Parliament,

took classic England tourist shots,
and strolled through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens to see
the Peter Pan statue
and the Prince Albert Memorial

We visited St Paul's Cathedral, one of my favorite places on earth,

and Buckingham Palace as well.
Of course, we drank lots of tea,

and even caught a glimpse of the Queen herself!

the ultimate milkshake

Chiles Pies in San Fransisco makes a mean milkshake.  Apparently, you choose your ice cream flavor and then a slice of pie -- it all goes into the blender together to make what I am sure is the most extravagantly delicious concoction known to man.   Woah.

getaway

Lately, I've been feeling a strong pull to move along.  Or at least to get away for a bit.  Changes are afoot over here, and I'm very curious (and a little anxious) about where my next steps will take me.  I guess it's as they say... only time will tell.

Where would you go, if you could go anywhere?

Rambling Rose

The Rambling Rose, a restored caravan, is tucked into my favorite corner of England -- Cornwall.

Outrageously tiny, I know, but isn't it charming?  And, trust me, you'd spend every possible minute out of doors anyway...

Now, THAT'S a vacation

Can you imagine escaping to this magical land?  What an idyllic looking place, don't you think?

Urnatur is an eco-lodge in Sweden where guests stay in cabins or tree houses (!!!) and can sign up for classes on foraging and timbering, etc, during their stay.
